USTA Alabama 55 & Over Championships

All registrations for the 2018 Alabama Championships will be online and entry fees will be collected at time of registration utilizing PayPal with the exception of the 9.0 level. The process is simple and secure and does not require a PayPal account.

   All 9.0 men and women must be registered on their teams

 at www.TennisLink.USTA.com by April 13th.  Any player that is not

 registered by April 13th WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE to participate in the

 championship even if they are registered on the championship

 website.  The language is no longer in the championship procedures

 that allows for players to be allowed to register after the deadline of

Below is important information about your team and players:

·      To register your team, captains need your team number and credit card.

You must use the correct team number!  Please click on the division you are playing at state and also click on the city that your local league played from and not the city in which you live.

All t-shirts for men and women will be a poly/cotton blend.  The women's shirt will be a v-neck ladies cut.

·      All players registering for this tournament must be on the team roster in www.TennisLink.USTA.com, be current members of USTA and have played in at least two matches one of which can be a default received.  The exception is any 9.0 level playing their local league at state.  Please contact Ruth Anne Bendall, rbendall7@gmail.com if you have any questions.

·      Captains must register first with their team number. As a captain you may register yourself or you may register your entire team. If captains prefer to register the entire team, all you will need is team number and credit card. Registration fee is $35.00 (NON REFUNDABLE) per person and we utilize PayPal.com to process registration payment.  It is very important to use the correct team number.

·      Captains must notify their Local League Coordinator immediately if the team will not attend the 2018 Alabama Championship.

·      Local teams must have a minimum of 6 players registered through PayPal by April 13th to be included in the championship draw.

·      Players not registered through PayPal by the registration deadlines stated above may be added at the championship captains meeting by submitting cash or check, payable to ATA, assuming that the player is registered on the team through TennisLink.  The late registration fee is $40.00.  Championship t-shirts may not be given to late additions.

·      There is a non-refundable registration fee of $35.00 per player or $40 for late registrations.

•   To advance to sectional championships, each player must have played in at least two matches one of which can be a default received.
